Remember that huge debacle last May when KFC tried to give away free grilled chicken meals because Oprah announced it and all the KFC’s ran out of chicken and thousands of angry people waited in line for nothing and then KFC offered to mail them rain checks for free meals mostly to prevent the homeless people from cashing in (no home mailing address)? You know I love a good deal but no way would I wait in a crazy line for fast food worth $4 (or even 6hours for a custom-fitted Thomas Pink shirt, or wait in the freezing January cold for 1 glorified makeup sample…)
ANYway.. KFC is doing it again – the 3rd free giveaway this year – but this time you come in, get a free piece of grilled chicken, then leave. No coupon needed. All day Monday at 5,000 KFC’s around the country.
