The actors from Wes Anderson‘s film, The Fantastic Mr. Fox, posed for the cover of this week’s New York Magazine but it didn’t seem like the shoot was much easier than normal considering they were 12-18″ dolls. Each doll is intricately moldable/posable and took 10 mos to build (at a cost of $82,500 each). The cover shoot took SIX hours just to prep because they team had to make sure each eyebrow was perfect, each shoulder was arched correctly, each eyeball was vaselined, each personality was present. I haven’t seen many ads for this film but I’m interested in seeing it, just for the whimsy of it.
