Damian Hirst’s Preserved Shark

Have you checked out the 13-foot tiger shark in a glass tank of pretty green formaldehyde at the Met, yet? He’s a little wrinkly but it seems the original shark was VERY wrinkly and started decaying almost immediately because Damien Hirst didn’t know he had to actually inject the thing with formaldehyde, too (not just dunk it).  See, sometimes in life you have to fail at preserving giant seafood carcasses before you hit on the $8million solution.
